Entering the Workforce

Luke reached a big milestone today: he started doing his first job.  As in, he'll get paid.  In our family, each child has a job he or she is responsible for and they get paid for their job each month.  Luke has been wanting his own money for a while and we decided we'd let him earn it by doing a simple, but important job.  He changes out the trash bags in the small trash cans around the house each week.  Yes, that makes him The Trash Collector.

Today was Day 1 and Luke did a great job, completing all steps of the task by the time we arrived at the last trash can.  The biggest challenge?  Getting the tied-up trash bags into the big outside trash can.
