Luke recently decided that Michael Jackson's "Beat It" is his favorite song, as evidenced by the fact that we listened to it 5 times in the course of half an hour. The last time he had a song he liked so much, it was "Oh, the Thinks you Can Think" from Seussical the Musical.
Other favorite songs the kids have enjoyed at a young age are "Keep on the Sunny Side" from O Brother, Where Art Thou (Cat), "I've Just Seen a Face" from the Across the Universe soundtrack (Jack), and "Paradise" by Coldplay (Eliza). Eliza's current favorite is Miley Cyrus's "I Can't Wait to See You Again."
Either my children have very mature taste in music, or I need to offer them a more age-appropriate selection?
