The Adventures of Cat & Jack: Big Baby

My friend Elena brought us to the zoo one more time in October, and we had a great time. The weather was awesome, the company was fun, and the animals were, well, there.

I'm not going to include more pictures of the animals I documented last time. (Not sure why I even took the pictures? Maybe I was hoping for that priceless perfect shot. I don't know..?) But I DO want to document that we met the newest member of the zoo family during our visit. Baby giraffe Anuli was only 5 weeks old, and was the biggest baby, and cutest giraffe, I've ever seen. She stayed pretty close to her mom, Kipenzi, and it was fun to just sit and watch them for a while.

So fun! What a great way to spend the day. We made it back home just in time to pick Cat up from school. And we tried not to talk too much about our adventure at the zoo...
