And then there was snow...

Exactly three days after our kids romped in the splash pad in St. George, we had our first snow of the year.  It snowed during the day that Wednesday, and by the time we woke up the next morning, there was enough snow to play in.

Of course, Cat had school, so she didn't go out and play right away.
But I still think they were smart to start their day with warm oatmeal and hot chocolate.

Jack, on the other hand, was playing outside as soon as we could get him geared up.

Eliza did join him outside, and they discovered that you CAN drive a tricycle in the snow.
As long as it's not too deep, I guess.

And then an epic battle ensued.  I don't recall any of the specifics, but I gather this is how the next few minutes unfolded, based on the pictures I took from my vantage point of the upper deck, looking down at the back yard.
