2nd Yearly Fun Run

The kids' school had their second Fun Run this fall and this time The Bigs all officially participated.  This year the organizers held two races: a half-mile and a mile.  We didn't know this in advance, so I hadn't talked to the kids about what they'd prefer to do.  I encouraged Jack and Eliza to run the half-mile, which they did.

Jack ran his half-mile in an impressive 3:30, finishing
in the first 10 or so in that race.

Eliza also ran quickly, finishing in about 4:20.
Jack gave her some love at the finish line.

Cat had planned on running the full mile, but I was surprised when Jack and Eliza wanted to run that race as well, especially since they'd just sprinted for half a mile.  They looked pretty intense as they waited at the starting line.

Jack finished first with a time of about 9:30.

Cat's time was around 10:30.

And Eliza rounded out the group at about 11:30.
