The other day Luke and I were helping a neighbor in her yard. While I was working on something, Luke managed to pull a tulip bud off of its stem. Our neighbor was very kind and didn't get upset at all, she just told him that he should put the bud in some water when we get home.
As soon as we got home, Luke put the tulip bud in some water. My water.
And a few minutes later, he announced he was thirsty and immediately started drinking my tulip water.
That's when I decided it was time to pull out a bud vase.
My chuckle of the day. Never a dull moment:) So glad you and Luke have this time together.
