What a great year to be a family of Seminoles! I have to admit that with the challenges we were dealing with in the fall, FSU Football was a godsend. They had an awesome year and we all looked forward to the games; Cat became such an enthusiast that she claimed to be teaching her friends at school (both boys and girls) about football. Jack wanted to play football all the time, and would frequently don his bike helmet to play because, well, football players wear helmets.
Here are a few snapshots from the season, followed by the awesomeness of the big National Championship game. The kids and I made some signs to surprise Ben the day before - it was so fun to decorate and get psyched up! The night of the game we had another family come over along with MY MOM (!!! More on that in the next post) who is a fellow FSU Alum. Nobody liked the way the game was played - or not played - but at least it ended the right way. It would have been a bad bad bad time in our house if FSU had lost. Go Seminoles!
