Chalk the Block, Again

This weekend we met up with some friends to walk around at a local outdoor mall for Chalk the Block.  I took the girls to this event a couple of years ago and was really impressed with the amount, variety, and caliber art.  I was excited to go back as a family, and this year there was even more to see.  So much so that they split up the chalk art into two separate sections of the parking lot.

We had a good time walking around and seeing all of the chalk art, and the kids had fun getting in on the chalk action when they got a chance.  It was a fun way to spend a Saturday evening.

Eliza did some dancing when the singer sang
 "Let It Go."

Jack would draw on the pavement any chance he got.
Here he's making an Easter egg, since he'd just gotten the book
Easter Engines (a Thomas book) from the library.

This was done by one of the featured professional artists.

Jack has been really into whales lately, so he was excited about this one.

J & E with their buddy Charlotte.

The theme was "Discover the World" and this was one of my favorites.

The little girls got a kick out of finding Anna & Elsa.

No pictures of Cat or Luke or Ben.... weird.
But they were there too.
