A Trip Down Memory Lane

Last week I was working on a project that required me to scan in a bunch of pictures from our pre-digital camera days.  We didn't get our first digital camera until Cat's birth was imminent, so I was sorting through a few years of prints in order to find the ones I wanted.

I would like to share some of my favorites.  Just for the heck of it.

The first three are from fall of 2002, when Ben and I were dating.  The last one is from our graduation day in Dec. 2004 when we'd been married for about 18 months.

Ben helped us out with an Institute activity I helped plan:
a Western murder mystery performance.
Since I needed to be in costume as well, he even let me
borrow a hat.  And a shirt.  And a belt.

The Hootenanny!
And yes, it gets cold in North Florida,
even if it rarely snows.

Tailgating at the Institute before a football game.
This may be my all-time favorite picture of us.
I wish the quality was better.  I wonder if there's
a way to make this look better?

Graduation Day!  I still think it's incredibly awesome
that we not only graduated on the same day, but in the same ceremony.
(That only happened because we graduated in December.)
We got announcements with both of our names on them and were able
to celebrate with all of our family together.  It was so great.

It doesn't always happen that photographs match up to the epic-ness
of a day but LOOK
at this beautiful picture with FSU's well-known
Westcott Building & Westcott Fountain.  I love it.
