Greetings & Spirit Week

Well, hello there, it's good to be back!

Now, where were we?

Ah yes. Spirit Week.

Spirit Week at the big kids' school is one of the highlights of the year. The theme this year was Marvel, which was very cool. Jack, in particular, got really into it. The grades participated in daily themed dress-up competitions and lunchtime games and everyone had a blast.

I don't have any pictures from Spirit Week goings on on Monday or Tuesday but I do have a couple of pictures from Tuesday evening when we celebrated some big news: Cat was told that she's the valedictorian! She called to tell me right after she found out at school, and after school I told the younger kids that Cat had news but I wanted her to tell them what it was herself. Then I told her she could choose anywhere she wanted to go for dinner that night and she chose.... Smashburger. No complaints from any of us!

Just because you're valedictorian doesn't mean your siblings won't try to steal your milkshake.
Ben was out of town, otherwise he would have been sneaking sips too.

Back to the Spirit Week happenings, here are some quick pics of the kids
decked out for "Heroes & Villains" day at school (Wednesday):
Liza as a HYDRA Agent

Jack as Loki

Cat as Agatha (WandaVision)

Liza and one of her friends on Blue & Gold Day (Thursday)

Jack was given the Tesseract after the Spirit Bowl on Friday.

P.S. I'm actually writing and publishing this post on the day that Cat started classes at BYU, which makes the events described here feel like a lifetime ago. How quickly things change.
