The Adventures of Cat & Jack: Yes Day

Have you seen this book before?

We own the book and my kids decided early in the summer that we really should have a Yes Day before school started again. I planned it for a day when Grammy would be in town because I thought it would be fun to enjoy the Yes Action together. I surprised the kids with the news when they woke up that morning, which was really fun.

I didn't take a single picture that day, but I'll give you an idea of some of the things we said Yes to:

May we have Otter Pops before breakfast?

May we skip piano practice?
May we watch TV?

Will you take me to the store to spend my job money?

May we get lunch at Chick-Fil-A? (thank you Grammy!)

Will you play toys with me?

May I use your tablet?

May we skip our reading?

Will you let us choose something at Target? (thanks again Grammy!)

May we stay up late?

The day was a hit! So now I know what I'm going to say when the kids ask me for another Yes Day next summer.
