The Adventures of Cat & Jack: Another of Eliza's Talents

I made a batch of peppermint bark (melted white chocolate with candy cane bits and peppermint extract, which is spread out, cooled, then broken into chunks) today and Eliza was eager to help. Of course I gave her the best job of all - whacking the candy canes so that we would have small pieces for the recipe. She was a great helper, I'm sure in part because it played to her skills. "I'm great at whacking things!" she told me.
