Ben has been promising Cat for several months that she would be able to take a dance class when we moved to Utah. She waited patiently for the fall and for a class to begin, and now we officially have a "ballet student" in the family. I had no idea how excited I would be for my daughter to take a dance class, but I think I got just as much of a kick out of her first class as she did.
She's taking her class at the local rec center, so it's really cheap, but she still gets to have a "concert" in December. Win win win! It's also only a semester-long class, so if she doesn't love ballet come December, we can consider other types of dance classes for her to take beginning in January.
