Luke is THREE

Luke is a fun, bright, silly, active, curious, talkative, smart, happy, funny three-year-old.  He stays busy with toys or siblings most of the time.  He particularly loves trucks and other vehicles right now, but also enjoys books.  He'll bring me a book and say, "Will you weed dis to ME?"  He loves the playground and gets a kick out of sliding down the slide.  He has lots of fun with his siblings and does a good job of keeping up with them even when they start wrestling (perhaps especially when they start wrestling...).  They all make each other laugh, which is so fun.  Luke still naps well (yeah!) and prefers using sippy cups and almost always chooses a diaper over underwear, but little by little he's showing that he wants to be more grown up.

He's been more cooperative when it comes to getting his picture taken... even if he does find blowing the seeds off of a dandelion challenging.

Luke went through a phase where he really loved jigsaw puzzles for several months.  It was usually the activity that best kept him occupied when I was practicing piano with Eliza.  I recorded him putting together this Thomas puzzle, which is his favorite, back in November when he was 2 1/2.  In the video, I sped it up 2.5x, but you can still see how diligent he was.

Also, this is a montage of video clips I took of Luke when he was 2-2.5.  It's a little old, but now that it's done, I thought I'd at least share it.
