The Adventures of Cat & Jack: How did you celebrate?

We had a great National Chocolate Chip day today.

We spent time working on LEGO creations.

The kids tried out my viola and Ben's trumpet, then Ben tried out my viola.

And finally... we enjoyed some delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies, which Ben did a great job on after getting tired of waiting for me to make them. Luke thoroughly enjoyed playing with the dough, and making a mountain of cookie dough balls.

My kids were pretty excited about the idea of National Chocolate Chip day. I just wonder if this is an annual thing, or did someone win the right to name a holiday and that's what (s)he came up with.? Maybe we'll find out next year.
