Jack Played Baseball!

Jack had been talking about playing baseball for a while and we finally signed him up last spring.  He had a great time and really started getting the hang of the game.  It was a machine-pitch league which made it much easier for the kids to get hits (yeah!) and Jack got several during the season.  All of the kids on the team were able to try playing at different positions and Jack said First Base was his favorite.

Final game of the season:

Sometimes we dropped Jack off at practice and picked him up afterward,
and sometimes we hung out while he practiced with his team.
While stuck around one day, Eliza helped Luke learn how to do a cartwheel.

We were just at the splash pad before this practice.
Luke had insisted on wearing jeans, a white t-shirt, and a faux
leather jacket to the splash pad and kept it on when we went to the ball field.
Eliza kept her splash pad attire on as well.
Then she climbed a pole.

I guess everyone has a good time at the ball field.
