The Last Day

We did some good things in St. George before we drove home that Saturday.  In the morning, I went for a run and took pictures of my favorite places along the way.

When I got back, Ben and Ben headed out to go mountain biking.

Then once we'd done all the cleaning we could do and had loaded up the car, we drove to the cemetery to visit Opa's grave.  It was really nice to be there and spend some time gathered around, talking and thinking about Opa.  The kids were even respectful when I asked them if we could have a few minutes of quiet, which I really appreciated.  I'm so glad we went.

There is a playground near the cemetery so we let the kids play for just a few minutes before going back to the house for a quick lunch.

We finally got on the road at about 2pm.  It felt like a long drive home, but the kids weren't miserable the entire time, so that was really nice.

It really was a great trip and I'm so glad we got out of town for a few days and made some good family memories.
