General Conference

General Conference was last weekend!  It was a great weekend all around. I loved singing with MoTab for three sessions, but it's still weird to be gone during Conference weekend, and I miss hanging out with my family and chatting about the speakers, etc., and the yummy traditions we had for so long.  At least one tradition has endured: Cat now oversees the Conference Bucks motivational endeavor, and this year Whit learned all about Conference Bucks and LOVED it, which made me so happy.  I don't have many pictures, since I was gone most of the weekend, but here are a few:

Cat and me, right after the General Women's Session
(the weekend before General Conference)

Whit and Eliza, diligently taking notes to earn Bucks.

Jack and Luke staying reverent by coloring.

After the Saturday afternoon session, we took the kids to Canyon View Park
in Provo Canyon so they could get some fresh air and run around.  It worked out perfectly.

While we were there, Uncle Ben tried out his new drone.
The drone is at the top of the frame in this picture and everyone
is waving at the drone-camera.  It was so cool to see the pictures
and videos the drone got!

We did our General Conference wrap-up FHE the Monday after Conference, talking about some of the topics and stories from the weekend, watching our favorite Conference-related YouTube videos (adding a new one this year), and playing a Kahoot! game I put together.  (Try it HERE.)  Suz's family joined us for FHE that night and we divided up, boys vs. girls when we played the game.  Everyone participated and had a good time, but the girls emerged victorious, which is the only thing that really matters.

I'm so thankful for the opportunity we have to hear helpful, uplifting messages from Church Leaders twice each year, and I'm thankful that my kids enjoy these weekends as well.
