September Arrived

We got some mondo carrots from our garden!
We hosted an impromptu dessert gathering for my aunt and her family.

Jack had his first cross-country meet and he did a great job!
He hardly walked at all and got a PR!  It was fun to watch and cheer him on.

I love this flower Luke made at school.
I love these pics the kids took in the back yard.

Maybe the Jurassic Park movies were all just done with plastic dinosaurs?!?
Eliza loved this water bottle and the stickers she'd collected.
Alas, it was leaking, so she wanted a pic before she threw it away.

Eliza had to make a visual representation of a food chain, so she chose
sugar cookie shapes.  Unfortunately, we don't have a cow-shaped
cookie cutter, but I think she did a great job of cutting it out on her own.
Another day of at-home learning.

We endured delay after ridiculous delay in order to get Krispy Kreme
doughnuts Saturday morning, but our dedication paid off.  They were delicious.
And Suz had her first real doughnut in several months.  Hooray!

There was a lot of Nerf going on in our house that week.
