Yesterday we honored Pi Day by having a shepherd's pie of sorts for dinner (using
this recipe, which I loved, but I omitted the corn, added another tbs of ketchup, and cooked it for 45 minutes) and chocolate cream pie for dessert (using
this recipe, which I also loved, but next time I need to cook the custard more). It was so yummy, and I only regretted that just half of the family enjoyed it together. I love these fun, simple little traditions.
