Cat's 17th Birthday

It was so fun to celebrate Cat's 17th birthday!  We started the day off with presents and raspberry rolls from Shirley's.

Then the kids and I brought Cat's best friend with us to Lagoon.  It was the first time going for our family and we loved it!  The lines were pretty short throughout the park until we got to the water rides early in the afternoon - everyone must have had the same idea because we waited for a looooong time.  Cat and Janie were on their own for most of the day but we met up toward the end so everyone could ride on Cannibal.

After waiting for... an hour...? we finally rode on the Rattlesnake Rapids ride

Luke and I rode on some smaller coasters while all of the big kids rode Cannibal

Then they hung out with Luke while I had a chance to ride - it was really fun!

That night Janie hosted a birthday party for Cat at her house with lots of friends from school.  She loved it!

Then the next day we all went out to dinner for a double celebration - Cat's birthday and Ben's promotion to CEO of SimpleNexus.  Big day!
