The Escalante Cross

One evening in November we went on a cool little hike I've had in mind for a while: the Escalante Cross in Spanish Fork.  We started at Spanish Oaks Reservoir, walked through the campground (which was blocked off and closed for the season), and then up and down some foothills until we arrived at the cross.  It was chilly and there weren't many people around, and the view from the top of the hill was beautiful - especially when the sun began to set!
