St. Patrick's Day

Morning fun: breaking the (green) white-chocolate heart that had more candy inside (a treat from Ben's partner Matt the day before), and Mom adding green food coloring to the bowl of Lucky Charms before Eliza and Luke poured their milk so they were surprised (or not so much) that the milk turned green.

Evening fun: After school we had the unusual treat of a mid-week cousin dinner.  Andy's family was in town for Amy's brother's wedding and the best time for them to meet up with us was that evening.  Suz made corned beef and hash; Ben and I made our traditional green dinner of green four-leaf clover waffles, green scrambled eggs, green fresh fruit, and green smoothies.  We also had our customary scavenger hunt, then some time to play games until bedtime.

Cousin time makes holidays even better!
