The Chicken Chronicles 7.30.21

Eliza tried to take Hei Hei for a walk.  It didn't last long.

We realized that while all of the Chickies are pretty fast, these
three can be caught if you really want to catch them.
Waffles, on the other hand (in the upper corner) is next to
impossible to catch.  She's also much smaller than the other ones.

Waffles (white), Henry (in the back), Bo (rust and gray), and Blue (gray)
Also, Bandit in the corner, probably mid-crow.

The Chickies are mixing with Big Chickens a little better now,
but the two groups still stay separated most of the time.

Dixie (in the middle) has been pecking at the other chickens, even Bandit.
Felix (on the right) gets the worst of it.  You can see the bare spot on her right wing.
Also, they really love peaches.

In the foreground, what the chickens do to watermelon when
you give them the rinds you cut from the fruit.
In the background, Bandit and his beautiful tail.

I wish it was easier to get the chickens to pose for pictures.
I just wanted to included several in this post to document what they
look like now, in their mostly-grown-but-not-completely phase.
