Tim and Cassie's Visit, Part 2

We stayed closer to home for the rest of Tim and Cassie's visit.  The big event on Saturday was rafting down the Provo River, which was really fun!  We got stuck once or twice and had to look out for rocks and such but mostly just floated along.  And it was a beautiful day to be out on the river.

Then we drove down the canyon a bit and stopped at Bridal Veil Falls.  We hadn't planned to stay long but little by little, everyone wanted to climb up the waterfall, so we were there for a while.  But everybody had a good time and enjoyed an iconic view in the area.

We had an early dinner at Cafe Rio (of course) then let the kids watch a movie at home while the adults drove to Park City.  We just enjoyed the scenery and strolled up and down Main Street, then chose a restaurant where we could sit down and get dessert.  It was much cooler up there and it was nice to be out on the town for a bit.  That night Cat and Lana stayed up and watched two fireworks shows (PG and Orem) n the roof of our house (!) once the other kids were in bed.

I don't have much to share from Sunday - after church Tim and Cassie took their kids to see family history sites, then we had a late birthday party for Ben back at the house.

Tim and Cassie left the next day to go home.  We had SO much fun with them, and it was great to see the kids strengthen their friendships!
