Disney Character Day


For Disney Character Day, Jack really wanted to be a Jedi.  I happened to have a large piece of brown fabric in my stash so I made him a very rough robe to wear.

I refused to make anything for the girls and instead insisted that they select items from our existing dress-up collection (and in Cat's case, my closet) to assemble their costumes.  I was pleased with what they came up with.

With some help and suggestions from me, Cat put together an Anna Maria (Pirates of the Caribbean) costume.

After repeated reminders that she could simply don a Disney Princess dress (of which she has a few) and be ready to go for the day, Eliza insisted she wasn't interested in that plan.  So with no help whatsoever from me (and no time to spare before we had to go to school), Eliza came up with a Queen Amidala (Star Wars) costume.
