Playin' In the Rain

I'm pretty sure this is one of Cat's favorite things about summer. And I can't blame her, I LOVED getting to run around in the rain in my swimsuit as a child. The only bummer is when it thunders and lightnings, cutting the fun short, which happens most of the time during summer storms here. But at least we have a few minutes of afternoon fun outside without being in the blazing heat! This time, Jack also joined in on the fun. Who can resist a Little Mermaid umbrella and a free waterslide?

Funny as it may seem, Cat is usually chilled enough after a good romp in the rain that when she's finished she asks for hot chocolate. And it doesn't take too much coaxing for me to oblige. :-)
