Early Christmas

We had a big trip over Christmas and New Year's so we split Christmas up between our house a few days early, and Suz's house on Christmas Day.  This actually worked out really well - on our Early Christmas Eve evening the kids exchanged sibling gifts and we read The Night Before Christmas.  Jack set up cookies and milk for Santa, and the next morning the kids woke up to see that Santa really had come early.  We enjoyed Santa gifts and opened wonderful thoughtful gifts from friends and other family members on Wednesday.  Ben had to work for a few hours in the middle of the day, so I took some time to relax and hang out with the kids, then worked on getting things packed and prepped for our trip.  We finally left for St. George at about 5pm, starting a whirlwind holiday trip.

Eliza took and edited this picture of our living room.
I really like the way it turned out.

Early Christmas Eve!

Sibling gifts! Jack gave Luke soda and candy :-)

Jack with his (Dollar Tree) Nerf football and Eliza wrapped up in
a cozy blanket from Cat.

Jack loved the mini Pac-Man arcade game Cat gave him.

Early Christmas Morning!
I ordered socks for Jack with Felix's head printed on them.
Unfortunately, they got a hole in them after only wearing them a couple of times.

The one big gift this year was a new bike for Eliza - she needed it.
Luke got some Army/Navy toys and some new magic tricks.

Cat had fun with a Dwight Shrute keychain that
plays recordings of different funny things he said.

So excited for Spanish gold from Mision San Luis,
thanks to Mema and Papa!  They also sent a journal to each
kid so they could write about their experiences
on our trip to Mexico, which was awesome!

Ben is showing off the new Buddy the Elf ("Raised by Elves")
t-shirt Cat gave him, and they were twinning.

Pops sent pesos and lots of tools and things for us to use in Mexico - love it!
(And it definitely came in handy!)

It works!

Jack spent as much time as he could on his new LEGO set,
the Razor Crest from The Mandalorian.  He was over halfway done
when we left on our trip, and finished it as soon as he could when we got home.
