Father's Day

Since we knew we'd be gone for most of Father's Day, we kept things pretty simple. Before our trip to Vernal, the kids made a sign to hang up above the table. I planned a dinner that I could put together pretty quickly once we were home, and we had a couple of presents for Ben.

The trip was a great illustration of some of the qualities we appreciate about Ben as a dad: that he works hard AND plays hard, that he likes to have fun with his family, and that he sacrifices for us and makes spending time with us a priority.

All things considered, it was a good day. We sure love Ben and appreciate how he fathers our family!
