Battle Creek Falls Hike

I've been itching to hike this summer so one afternoon in July when Cat was gone to soccer camp and the younger kids were being difficult and hadn't earned any of the activities they would deem fun, I decided we'd do a short hike to a waterfall in Pleasant Grove.  It was hot, and the kids thought they were going to die of thirst on the impossibly long hike (at about 1.5 miles roundtrip).  But we managed to get to the waterfall, enjoy the cold water, and get back to the car in half the time it took us to get up to the waterfall.  (Though, we did drink almost all of our drinking water during the hike.)  In the end, everyone enjoyed it.









As we walked, Luke found a few things that looked like other things:
"deer horns"

"T-rex feet"

"a bear cave"

So I joined in.  Here are the stairs I found:
