This really is the last summer post. Really.

I thought I had rounded up the last of the summer pictures, but when I began gathering pictures for my next post I found even more from summer.  Goodness gracious.  So, bear with me one more time...

Ben and I unknowingly built a climbing course in our closet for Jack and Eliza , using boxes and bins.

Eliza got into my makeup and applied mascara to her left eyelashes, all by herself.
Scary that she could have poked her eye out.  And also kind of scary that she did a pretty job putting it on...

When cleaning one day I found this purse that Cat had been carrying around for a few days
and checked out the contents.  Bears a remarkable resemblance to the items in my purse.
Sigh.  Kids are always in such a hurry to grow up.
Drinking hot chocolate after our last visit to the water park, which was on a chilly summer evening.
Gotta say - I'm pretty sure it was the first time we needed hot chocolate right after getting home from a water park.

Cat wanted to be sure the tooth fairy didn't get over-zealous and try to
fly away with her tooth-shaped box, which actually houses the lost tooth.

One day Jack and Cat pulled all of the bottles of Gatorade out of a large pack Ben bought at Costco.
And so we sang "10 Green Bottles Hanging On the Wall" for the next 30 minutes or so, filling in the appropriate color
for each verse, with Jack setting up or knocking over the bottles as we went.  He loved it.

And with that, we finally bid a fond adieu to summer.
