The Adventures of Cat & Jack: Summer Has Begun!

This was our first baby-pool swim session of the summer. Last week we did some serious cleaning (leaving the baby pool on the back porch for 8 months was a mistake) and got the pool swim-ready. Although the water was too cold for me or for Jack, Catherine had a blast.

Jack was pretty well entertained just watching Cat have fun in the pool, and eating the occasional leaf or stick. I feel so blessed that he's such a good baby!

I expect we'll have lots of these swim sessions in our future, especially since I don't think I'll want to take Jack to the beach very often until he's a good walker. Too bad, considering it's 20 minutes away.
