Eliza is a great gal. She is very helpful, she enjoys working on goals (especially goals that have to do with gymnastics), and she really loves babies and little kids. She's having a really good year with a great teacher and good friends, both at school and at gym.
Eliza actually had two days off from school at the end of September because she started having chest pain in the afternoon and it got worse toward dinner time. The pain eased some during the evening but she still had some trouble sleeping that night. I knew that trouble breathing was a COVID symptom, but I didn't think this was the same thing. I called our pediatrician's office the next morning and talked to them, just in case, and they said to keep her home for two days, just in case. She never developed a fever or any actual respiratory symptoms, she never lost her test or smell, and she had boundless energy while she was stuck at home, so we decided she was COVID-clear and sent her back to school after her 48-hour quarantine. No further problems have been reported.
We babysat triplets a few weeks ago and Eliza was so cute with them! She'd love the chance to do some babysitting on her own. |
When Luke really needed to finish an assignment but he really didn't want to, Eliza helped him write out each word, on two pages. |
Eliza also helped Luke get a new look one Sunday. Which happened to be the day before school pictures. |
Eliza's class made these ecocolumns for science and she was so excited about it. |
Eliza really enjoys shooting with Ben! Here she is using a CZ 457 .22 rifle at her first shooting competition, in Hoble Creek. |
