What a year 2020 has been! While there have been several losses we’ve mourned over, we also feel abundantly blessed to have had more time together. And yes, those are our chickens - a fun new adventure for our whole family! Ben still loves working for SimpleNexus (from home since March) and takes primary responsibility for our garden & chickens. Brett has missed singing with the Tabernacle Choir since the Choir stopped meeting in March but has enjoyed being home with the family more. Our schools have been open since August, and the kids are so glad to be learning in-person, among their friends (with COVID adjustments). Cat (15) still loves soccer and had a great season on her school team. She’s also learning to drive (!) and has an ambitious load of classes as a Sophomore. Jack (12) is adjusting to middle school - and likes it! He ran Cross Country for the first time this fall and spends his free time reading, writing books, and taking care of the chickens. Eliza (10) is becoming a young woman before our eyes. She is still an enthusiastic gymnast and loves young children. Luke (7) is loving 2nd grade and amazes us with the things he’s learning (and remembering). He keeps us on our toes!
We are so thankful for you and hope your Christmas and New Year will be filled with peace and love!
