January Miscellany

We finally got a new chess set and it's gotten lots of use so far!

In case you were wondering what would happen if you left a crayon on a vent
in the middle of winter when the heat is on pretty much nonstop.

When we said "Chinese Buffet for Dinner"
Eliza heard "All the Potstickers You Can Eat."

We introduced another set of cousins to Throw, Throw Burrito.
Check out Ben's face in these pictures.  Ees dee behst.

It's on now.

Apparently, Eliza has naturally curly hair.
Who knew?

Sunday evening: Cat at the piano, Jack helping me with dinner, the others
working on a 3D puzzle.

We had so much fun opening the package we received from my sister in Peru!
I like to call this particular dance move The Llama Has Landed.

We saw Stacey Harkey of Studio C fame parking near us as we were leaving Sundance one evening.
It took some convincing, but Jack and Eliza finally walked over to him and told him that they're big fans
of Studio C.  He asked if they watch JK Studios also, and they quickly said yes.

Jack had to make a 3D model of the earth showing the inner layers.
This is what we (Ben, me, and Jack) came up with, though Jack did most of the leg work.

I pushed Luke too hard one Thursday afternoon, trying to motivate him to get his homework
finished before I had to go to choir rehearsal.  This is the note he gave me before I left.

Because you can't clean the church and NOT take advantage of having the stage to yourself.

And you can't go anywhere without Woody either.

Our friends invited us to their Chinese New Year party and it was so fun!
Great food, good conversation, and learning Chinese dances, plus watching "Mulan"
and getting a chocolate coin made for a great night.

It's all fun and games until someone chips a tooth.
