Disneyland Day 1

We'd all been looking forward to this Disneyland trip for months and could hardly believe it when it was time to leave!  We flew out on Tuesday evening, had some IHOP dinner, then checked into our hotel across the street from Disneyland.

The fun began early Wednesday morning, meeting up with Andy's family, eating some breakfast, then waiting in line for California Adventure to open, as is Andy's custom.  The day included lots of fun at Pixar Pier and Cars Land, plus good food, and rides such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Soarin'.  We also enjoyed the experience-oriented attractions, such as Art of Animation (Jack's favorite!), Turtle Talk with Crush, and Philharmagic.  But the best part was hanging out together, and with Andy's family, and especially meeting Sydney, the newest (two months old!) cousin.  And also it was warmer in California, so that was nice.

during the exact dates we were there.  I teased them that the two of them can't stand to be apart.
